Benefit to the Community

This project is about the opportunity to "KickStart Chester" by creating job growth and bringing retail, commercial office and residential development to this waterfront brownfield.

The construction of the stadium will act as a "spark" to ignite and accelerate The Buccini/Pollin Group's $500 million mixed-use residential, retail and commercial office development. The stadium will provide the necessary foot traffic and on-going patron activity which will accelerate the adjacent mixed-use development from a 7-10 year construction timeline to a 3-5 year timeline significantly increasing economic benefits to the region.

There's a reason business and labor support KickStart Chester. More than 2,600 construction jobs are anticipated, with 800 permanent jobs upon project completion.

As the development is complete, organizations will come from far and wide to call Chester home. The Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA) and Starfinder Foundation are active partners in this initiative.

All of this will increase of direct and indirect spending in an underdeveloped area, enhance the perception and reputation for Chester and attract follow-on development.
