Summary of the Economic Impact Study

An economic impact study by Conventions, Sports & Leisure – a leading advisory and planning firm specializing in providing consulting services to the sports, entertainment and leisure industries – measured the potential benefits related to the construction and ongoing operation of the mixed-use development. The study concluded that the combined elements of the project will have a significant impact at the city, county and state levels. In addition to supporting the creation of 2,600 jobs during construction and then more than 800 permanent jobs, the project will generate over $1.7 billion in total economic activity, $670 million in personal earnings and $335 million in tax revenue.
